Located in the Stonegate neighborhood of Central Scottsdale, beneath the backdrop of the McDowell Mountains, #AegeanAwakening is a complete whole-home remodel that reimagines the space through Nita & Hearth’s perspective on a 2026 black and white organic modern interior. The design is rooted in contrast, where light and dark are balanced through texture, warmth, and thoughtful materiality.

From the moment of entry, a dramatic 48-inch chandelier creates a sense of scale and presence, setting the tone for the home’s layered approach. A large sliding door opens the space to the outdoors, blurring the line between inside and out and allowing the home to feel expansive and connected to its surroundings.

Throughout the home, moments of contrast are softened through natural finishes and intentional detail. In the powder room, a rich chocolate brown grasscloth wraps the space, adding depth and warmth. The kitchen is anchored by two islands, designed for both function and gathering, with pendant lighting from Kate Spade introducing a refined, sculptural element.

Custom tile layouts in the mudroom and laundry room bring movement and personality to everyday spaces, while the bathrooms lean into a more classic sensibility. In one, sconces reminiscent of delicate earrings frame the space, adding a subtle sense of ornament and femininity.
